Job Responsibilities:

Divisional Safety Coordinator responsible for all aspects of division safety performance, reporting, and adherence.

  • New Hire orientation and training
  • OSHA recordkeeping and reporting
  • Safety compliance with Federal, State and Local laws
  • Coordinating, conducting, and tracking monthly safety training and events
  • Safety alert distribution and preparation
  • Corporate reporting duties
  • Perform monthly crew safety meetings
  • Perform safety audits throughout the division and company
  • Frequent department safety communication walkthroughs
  • Ergonomic, engineering, and housekeeping improvement project management
  • Document and track divisional employee safety training
  • JSA, LOTOTO, and SOP development and revisions
  • Incident investigation, review, and follow-up


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in safety or a safety-related field and/or 4-yrs or more experience in safety field.
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills preferably in Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook
  • Travel requirements – intercompany and continuing education, benchmarking
