SYSTEMS INTEGRATOR SPECIALIST (SAP BTP)

Multinational FMCG company is seeking a skilled and experienced SAP BTP professional to join their team.

Position Overview:

As a Systems Integration Engineer specializing primarily in SAP BTP Integration Suite, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions that connect both SAP and non-SAP systems. You will collaborate closely with service managers, program managers, and outsourcing partners in an international environment, leading end-to-end integration projects, resolving technical issues, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. Your expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP PO, and other related technologies will be essential for optimizing integration processes and driving innovation. Additionally, you should be open to learning new integration technologies, including Lobster Data, to support evolving business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage interfaces and maintain a harmonized integration model by overseeing their lifecycle, ensuring consistency, and preserving the core structure when implementing changes across systems.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and external partners to understand integration needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and implement integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration, API Management and Open Connectors among others Integration Suite functionalities.
• Lead end-to-end integration projects, from requirements gathering to implementation and optimization.
• Monitor integration performance, manage incidents, and ensure reliability, availability, and security of all connected systems.
• Support DevOps and CI/CD practices within SAP BTP and ensure compliance with best practices and company standards.
• Maintain documentation for integration flows, configurations, and architecture.
• Facilitate enhancement deliveries & synchronization of test campaigns.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP BTP developments and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-10 years of experience in SAP Integration Technology design and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BTP Integration Suite, including CPI, API Management, and Event Mesh.
• Experience with various adapters such as SFTP, HTTPS, Mail, AMQP, and Advanced Event Mesh.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as ABAP, Java, Groovy, or XSLT.
• SAP Process Orchestration experience is desirable.
• Experience in managing day-to-day operations, providing technical support, and maintaining SAP integration solutions.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Travel requirements: the role will require occasional travel, which might be more frequent at the beginning of the assignment and depending on the work at hand. On average, travel can be estimated at 10%-20% of the working time.
