Position Overview:

The SVP of eCommerce will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving our digital commerce strategy, operations, and performance across all digital platforms. This role is ideal for a strategic, data-driven leader with deep experience in high-volume eCommerce, preferably in tech, consumer electronics, or retail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • eCommerce Strategy & Growth

    • Define and lead the end-to-end eCommerce vision, roadmap, and strategy to drive revenue, conversion, and customer retention.

    • Build and execute growth plans for owned digital platforms (e.g., website, mobile, app) and marketplace channels.

  • P&L Ownership

    • Own and optimize the eCommerce P&L, driving profitability while investing in sustainable growth and innovation.

    • Track and report key KPIs: AOV, CLTV, CAC, conversion rate, and cart abandonment.

  • Customer Experience & UX

    • Partner with product, UX, and engineering teams to deliver seamless digital experiences across devices and touchpoints.

    • Ensure digital storefronts reflect best-in-class merchandising, content, and personalization.

  • Marketing Integration

    • Collaborate with marketing to align digital campaigns, SEO/SEM, performance media, and CRM efforts.

    • Drive acquisition and retention strategies across digital channels, including paid social, search, email, and affiliate.

  • Technology & Platform Leadership

    • Oversee eCommerce platform evolution (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).

    • Identify and integrate third-party tools that enhance personalization, logistics, payments, and analytics.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership

    • Lead a high-performing team across digital operations, merchandising, UX, and analytics.

    • Work closely with supply chain, IT, customer service, and store ops to ensure a frictionless omnichannel experience.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in eCommerce within retail, consumer electronics, or DTC brands.

  • Proven success scaling digital revenue in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Deep expertise in digital P&L ownership, web analytics, and customer acquisition strategies.

  • Experience with A/B testing, CRO, personalization, and digital merchandising.

  • Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, API integrations, and mobile-first design.

  • Inspirational people leader with experience managing cross-functional and remote teams.

  • MBA or advanced degree a plus, but not required.
