SVP Operations in NY

We’re seeking a visionary operations leader to scale our infrastructure and fuel our next stage of growth.

Position Summary:

The SVP of Operations will oversee all facets of operational excellence across our end-to-end eCommerce business. From supply chain and logistics to customer service and fulfillment, this role is critical in ensuring a seamless and premium brand experience. This executive will bring a strong background in operations leadership within fashion, retail, or direct-to-consumer (DTC) companies, and a deep understanding of digital commerce dynamics.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Operations Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive operations strategy that supports growth, scalability, and customer satisfaction.

  • Drive operational innovation across fulfillment, shipping, returns, and inventory management.

Supply Chain & Fulfillment

  • Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including vendor relations, procurement, warehouse management, and third-party logistics (3PL).

  • Optimize fulfillment efficiency, delivery speed, and cost-to-serve, ensuring excellence in the last-mile customer experience.

eCommerce Infrastructure & Scalability

  • Build operational capabilities that support fast-growing DTC and marketplace channels.

  • Implement systems and workflows to ensure inventory accuracy, order accuracy, and on-time delivery across digital platforms.

Customer Experience & Service

  • Oversee customer service strategy, tools, and team management to ensure high-touch, high-satisfaction interactions.

  • Leverage feedback loops to improve operations and inform product and merchandising teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with technology, merchandising, finance, and marketing to align operational initiatives with business goals.

  • Serve as a key advisor on strategic planning, budgeting, and business process improvements.

Team & Organizational Development

  • Build and mentor a high-performing operations team; lead through transparency, accountability, and empowerment.

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision making, and operational discipline.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of operations leadership experience, with a strong track record in eCommerce and DTC retail, preferably in fashion, apparel, or lifestyle brands.

  • Expertise in supply chain strategy, fulfillment, logistics, and customer service for omnichannel retail.

  • Deep understanding of eCommerce technologies and how operations power digital growth.

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience managing P&L, KPIs, and vendor contracts.

  • Proven ability to scale operations for growth while maintaining quality and efficiency.

  • Skilled in managing third-party partners and internal cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
