Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO of a leader in value added logistics combining strategic assets, cutting edge technology and smart logistics.
Services include value added fulfillment, asset-based transportation, non-asset transportation and strong technology capabilities. Will be responsible for the management, development and signing of profitable new business, additional business, and maintaining current accounts specifically within the value-added fulfillment business. Will also hold responsibility for the go to market strategy (how to go to market, what markets to penetrate, the tools and resources needed for execution and retention of customer base). Will coordinate complete sales cycle process including prospect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, pricing, proposal preparation and presentation(s), contract signing, start-up and customer service follow-up after the sale. In addition to personal selling responsibility, will manage a staff of ? business development representatives and interact with Operations, Solutions, IT, Finance group members. Challenge is to expand account base, increase revenues and improve profitability.

Background Required:
  • Value Based Senior Sales & Sales Management within Logistics/Supply Chain (5 years)
  • Value added Warehousing & Fulfillment (i.e. Kitting, Packaging, High Volume, Automation)
  • Integration of Technological Systems (i.e. TMS, WMS)
  • Business planning (budget, forecasting)
  • Selling to C level, Vice Presidents and Directors
  • Strong reputation within the industry with proven relationships and contacts
  • Time & Territory Management Reporting Processes
  • Knowledge of Contact Management Program (i.e. Salesforce.com)
  • Developed Strategies and Executed Business Plan
  • Computer literate (i.e. Office Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Residence: DFW, or Open to remote office
  • Travel: Up to 50 %
  • Education: College Graduate - BA or BS degree
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Vertical Expertise (CPG, Retail,B2B, B2C)
  • Education: Graduate degree (i.e. Masters, MBA)
