Senior Estimator — Transportation Infrastructure — San Antonio Metro, TX

Our client, an established specialty contractor installing traffic signals, roadway lighting, signing, and intelligent transportation systems across Texas, is hiring a Senior Estimator to lead its estimating function. This is a senior seat with real ownership: you set the bid and estimate procedures, drive continuous improvement, and get a seat at the table in contract negotiations and project selection.

What You'll Do

• Lead the estimating function — prepare, review, and submit cost estimates for highway and traffic-infrastructure projects
• Establish bid and estimate procedures and standards; review estimate packages before submission
• Research and evaluate upcoming projects against company strategy; build reference data from historical costs
• Provide technical assistance in contract negotiations and lead handover meetings with project managers

What They're Looking For

• 7+ years of construction estimating experience, including at least 4 years on highway projects
• Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field — or significant directly related experience in lieu of a degree
• Advanced knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material properties; proficiency reading engineering drawings, including metric plans
• Preferred: B2W or HCSS estimating software expertise and TxDOT experience
• Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel throughout Texas
