Job Summary
Responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of Surface Mount Printed Circuit Assembly pick and place production line, in a high mix, quick-turn environment. Must be experience in all aspects of programming, equipment adjustment, fixturing and quality evaluation of product based on IPC standards.
Receives Direction From: Manufacturing Manager
Provides Direction To: No supervisory requirements

Education/training/experience: High school diploma or GED
Four years minimum experience in SMT machine operation and PCBA inspection.

Examples Of Essential Functions:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Programming, loading and operating a full SMT production line.
- Ability to read blue prints and schematics without supervision.
- Maintaining and updating assembly programs for equipment.
- Verification of kitted material from Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Perform testing on assigned products as required.
- Operation of pick and place equipment, paste machine, and reflow oven.
- Must be able to read and understand detailed Assembly Instructions. Knowledge of ANSI/ESD S20.20 and IPC-A-610
- Verify quality of solder paste printing.
- Set-up, operate, and perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
Education/training/experience: High school diploma or GED

Physical Standards
- This position requires frequently sitting, standing, reaching, walking, and handling/grasping of materials in manufacturing.
- This position may rarely require kneeling, bending, squatting.
- Must have finger dexterity, ability to use keyboard/ten key.
- Good eyesight for use of microscopes and small part inspection.
- Able to periodically participate in the inspection of company machinery and operations.
