Pay Range: $50 to 80K

Job Overview:

As an SEO Content Writer, you’ll be responsible for creating engaging and informative content that answers user questions, drives traffic, and boosts rankings.

Your main goal will be to write content that is interesting and compelling for readers. You will work closely with marketing and content teams to identify topics and trends and develop content that aligns with business goals. This role will report to the Associate Director of Content

You’ll need strong writing skills, a basic knowledge of SEO best practices, and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities:

• Will need to know how to craft compelling copy that answers user questions.
• Support content strategies that align with business goals and target audience.
• Create high-quality, engaging, and relevant content that addresses the needs of the target audience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing, and digital marketing.
• Write and edit website copy, blog posts, social media content, emails, and other marketing materials.
• Help to ensure all content is accurate, error-free, and aligned with brand voice and messaging.
• Follow editorial calendar and content production schedules.
  

Requirements:

• 2-4 years proven content writing experience in finance or mortgage, SEO experience is preferred, but not required.
• Experience with keyword research a plus.
• Basic understanding of content strategy.
• Experience with website analytics tools a plus.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints a plus.
• Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms a plus.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in content strategy.
• 4-year college degree or equivalent.
• Design experience or skills would be a plus.
