SCADA Penetration Tester

Our client in the network security industry is looking for Senior Penetration Tester to add to their team. You will be responsible for evaluating infrastructure security and remediating security flaws across systems, web applications and mobile platforms. You will continuously assess and exploit vulnerabilities to mitigate threats. To be successful in this role, you must be enthusiastic about the work and be able to think two steps ahead/ outside the box.

Senior Penetration Tester Responsibilities

  • Perform network penetration, web application testing, source code reviews, threat analysis, network assessments and social-engineering assessments
  • Develop comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences
  • Effectively communicate findings and strategy to client stakeholders including technical staff, executive leadership, and legal counsel
  • Recognize and utilize attacker tools, tactics, and procedures
  • Develop scripts, tools, or methodologies to enhance the processes
  • Assist with scoping prospective engagements, leading engagements from kickoff through remediation

Senior Penetration Tester Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, MIS or related field preferred
  • Experience performing web application penetration tests, network penetration tests, and network security assessments required
  • Experience with Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and SCADA environments preferred
  • OCSP and GPEN certifications a plus

Experience:

  • commercial work: 1 year (Preferred)
  • supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) environment: 1 year (Preferred)
  • penetration testing/ hacking: 5 years (Preferred)
  • government: 1 year (Preferred)
  • mobile and/or web application assessments: 1 year (Preferred)
  • client-facing consulting: 1 year (Preferred)
  • network security/vulnerability assessments: 1 year (Preferred)
  • developing programs or scripts in PHP, .NET, ASP, Java, SQL: 1 year (Preferred)
  • industrial Control Systems (ICS): 1 year (Preferred)
  • professional experience with security engineering practices: 2 years (Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

License:

  • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) (Preferred)
  • GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) (Preferred)
