SAP TPM Functional Lead

Position Summary:
Bull City Talent Group's direct client has an immediate need for a Sr. SAP TPM Functional Lead to guide the upgrade of its current SAP TPM solution. The role will serve as the lead SME who can assess the current solution, compare EHP6 and EHP9 functionality, recommend process and functional solutions, and provide hands-on configuration. The consultant will partner closely with the business to define and execute the path forward, including leadership through design, config, testing, and go-live. The role will require limited travel but will performed mostly remote.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with business and IT to assess legacy processes and system functionality with attention to which legacy customizations should remain and where they have opportunities to revert to standard configuration
• Evaluate EHP6 functionality vs. EHP9 to recommend enhancements and potential process changes to align better with best practices
• Assess current customizations and recommend which to retain and which can be retired for standard
• Design and configure new functionality to meet revised business processes and leverage new available functionality
• Design and lead testing efforts
• Lead go-live activities
• Conduct go-live support and knowledge transfer activities

Required Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated Trade Promotion process and system best practices through at least 2 SAP TPM implementations or upgrades
• Excellent consulting savvy and leadership to interface directly with the business to make and defend go-forward recommendations
• Demonstrated capabilities in designing and conducting workshops to understand current processes and system design
• Current hands-on configuration in SAP TPM and CRM
• Consumer goods industry experience required; Food processing preferable
