Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, deploy SAP solutions across Transportation & Logistics functional areas.
  • Configure and customize SAP TM modules including Order Management, Planning, Execution, Freight Settlement, Carrier Collaboration, BN4L (Business Network for Logistics), and related master data, as well as cross-functional application integrations.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements; design, build, and implement systems; and provide hypercare support post go-live.
  • Design, implement, and oversee global SAP Transportation Management and Logistics solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Lead projects in SAP TM and Logistics from inception to completion — including upgrades, enhancements, and new module implementations — ensuring on-time, in-scope, and on-budget delivery.
  • Analyze and prioritize business requirements based on cost/benefit analysis; present implementation roadmaps to department leadership.
  • Maintain and continuously improve Supply Chain and Operations solutions by designing and implementing new functionality to meet evolving business and performance requirements.
  • Drive client discussions and facilitate workshops to define requirements and solution design.
  • Independently manage configuration activities and produce project deliverables, including functional requirements and design documents.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10–12 years of professional experience in SAP Applications, including at least 10 years focused on SAP Transportation Management & Logistics in an IT business application role.
  • Strong SAP functional and solution design experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a functional lead working effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • At least three full life cycle SAP implementations in SAP TM.
  • Experience implementing SAP Transportation Management, Logistics, and end-to-end business processes.
  • Experience in transportation planning, optimization, and execution, including integration with third-party logistics (3PL) systems.
  • SAP integration knowledge across Procurement, Inventory Management, PLM, Finance, and Sales & Distribution.
  • Proven ability to design, build, and configure SAP solutions aligned to business process and application requirements.
