Job Description
Position Summary:
Bull City Talent Group's direct client has an immediate need for an SAP Success Factors Functional Analyst to assist with the ongoing support and continuous improvement of their HR applications environment. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors experience configuring/supporting the solution across core modules of Employee Central (EC), as well as Recruiting/Onboarding/Offboarding, and Performance & Goals modules.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides support to business partners in day-to-day process / system issues through Service Desk tickets.
- Coordinate with third parties to apply upgrades, changes, data updates to ensure that system components are fully compliant.
- Assist business partners with auditing activities by providing data, reports, or other information to satisfy auditor requests
- Work with business partners on small enhancement or larger projects to resolve process issues or meet new business requirements while maintaining an SAP best practice approach to reduce custom code.
- Take requests from or provide system / process improvement ideas to appropriate business partners.
- Document business requirements
- Perform analysis and functional and/or technical design and estimate solution for implementation while coordinating with technical / development resources.
- Charter projects and send through governance to obtain project resources and establish timing.
- Perform configuration for modules in area of responsibility.
- Test solution during development to determine areas of improvement.
- Coordinate or assist with data gathering, data review, data loads and process education.
- Implement solution into production system.
- Support business partners during hyper care immediately after go-live of new functionality.
- Transition new functionality/process to support
- Work with business partners on opportunity assessment / proof of concept investigations as a key input into future business optimization projects
- Acts as a project manager for projects in area of responsibility. This will include managing a project team of internal resources or consultants to deliver a final solution to business partners based on their requirements. It will also involve supporting the business partner leads on the project as well.
- Maintain relationships with key business partner stakeholders
- Work with IT colleagues to ensure best practices are followed for security, compliance, change management and release management. Collaborate internally with other team members on continuous improvement and/or on cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Overall 10+ Years of business and IT experience
- 7+ years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors experience supporting/configuring core modules of Employee Central (EC), as well as Recruiting/Onboarding/Offboarding, and Performance & Goals modules.
- 3+ years integration experience with other process areas
- 3+ years of experience as the SuccessFactors lead on SAP implementation and/or upgrade projects
- Experience in multiple, full lifecycle SAP implementations/upgrades of SuccessFactors environment
- Experience with EC reporting cockpit
- Experience with data replication
- Knowledge/experience with Employee Central Payroll (ECP) desired, though not required
- Experience with UKG/Dimension solution for Time & Attendance desired, though not required
- Prior experience as SuccessFactors User desired
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work directly with business to own the SuccessFactors platform globally from end-to-end
