SAP Shop Floor Hypercare Consultant (Evening)

Overview

Bull City Talent Group is looking for an SAP Shop Floor Hypercare Consultant to cover evening-shift manufacturing operations during a plant's SAP go-live and stabilization. You'll be the go-to SAP resource on the floor after regular business hours, when the project team is thin. You'll help production and maintenance users complete transactions correctly, make sound calls on issues and make sure nothing gets stuck waiting for the next shift.

Schedule

Days during the pre-go-live preparation and training period. After production restarts, evening shift, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

What You'll Do

• Give SAP functional hypercare support to evening-shift shop floor, production and maintenance users
• Support production execution: production orders, confirmations, goods movements, material staging, inventory consumption and production postings
• Support SAP PM work order activity: creating, editing and completing work orders, plus spare parts workflows
• Help users resolve transaction errors, missing data, incorrect postings and process questions
• Triage, document and escalate production-impacting issues, and judge what needs immediate escalation
• Prioritize issues by production impact, inventory impact, downtime risk and urgency
• Hold structured handoffs with the morning and overnight consultants so issues never lose context
• Take part in hypercare governance activities, issue reviews and status meetings
• Document recurring issues, training gaps and stabilization recommendations, and hand knowledge over to internal support teams

What You Bring

• Hands-on SAP manufacturing support experience in PP and/or PM, including production orders, confirmations and work orders
• SAP MM integration knowledge: goods issue and receipt, staging, inventory movements and production supply
• Prior go-live, hypercare, UAT or production support experience
• Ability to work on your own during non-standard hours with limited real-time project team coverage
• Strong issue documentation, escalation and shift-handoff discipline
• Must be local to the Mebane, NC area and able to work onsite every day

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting second-shift or off-hours manufacturing operations
• Exposure to SAP QM, WM, EWM or MES integration points
• Experience supporting supervisors and operators through go-live stabilization
• Background in CPG, life sciences or regulated manufacturing
