Job Description

Position Summary:
Bull City Talent Group's direct client has an immediate need for an experienced and results-driven SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant to assist with the rollout of SAC Planning across the organization. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of planning solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud and will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to translate planning requirements into scalable SAC models, stories, and integrations with various data sources. This position requires deep technical knowledge of SAC Planning capabilities, data modeling, and integration experience with SAP systems such as BW and S/4HANA, as well as a strong understanding of financial/operational planning processes, and excellent communication skills.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize SAP SAC Planning models, including data models, input forms, allocations, and planning functions.
  • Create interactive stories and dashboards that support planning, forecasting, and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze planning needs and translate them into SAC solutions.
  • Integrate SAC with SAP BW, S/4HANA, and other data sources to ensure timely and accurate data flow for planning processes.
  • Leverage advanced SAC features such as predictive analytics, Smart Predict, and time-series forecasting to enhance planning capabilities.
  • Support financial and operational planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and what-if scenario modeling.
  • Ensure adherence to SAC best practices in design, development, and security.
  • Provide training and documentation for end users and business analysts on SAC Planning tools and processes.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot data and planning issues as needed.
  • Provide guidance on opportunities for continuous improvement of solution in support of the business


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 12+ years of total SAP experience with a background in SAP BI/BW development.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP SAC Planning solution - ideally having been involved in multiple end-to-end implementations of the solution.
  • Proven expertise in SAC model design, planning functions (allocations, data actions, value driver trees), and story building.
  • Strong experience integrating SAC with SAP BW, S/4HANA, or other enterprise data sources using live and import connections.
  • Solid understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), operational planning, and related business processes.
  • Experience with predictive analytics, Smart Predict, and forecasting tools within SAC.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
