Job Description
Our Client is looking for a hands-on SAP Integration Specialist to oversee their integrations through the SAP Integration Suite (which is part of the SAP BTP). Our Client have started a company-wide SAP S/4HANA migration (Programme Flow) and you will have a leading role within the implementation and the transition to the IT run-organisation regarding the setup, documentation, monitoring, troubleshooting and overall integration vision. The SAP Technology team is currently part of Programme Flow for the business transition and will move to the IT department after a successful Go-Live. The programme is handling both private- and public cloud products from SAP to achieve a successful business transformation. S/4HANA is on the private cloud, and Ariba, SuccessFactors & SAP BTP are on the public cloud. The IT Department is responsible for the design, maintenance and support of our Client’s information technology infrastructure. This enables the organization to leverage both information and technology in an efficient, productive, reliant, performant, compliant, and secure manner.
Responsibilities
- As an SAP Integration Specialist , you will oversee the SAP Business Technology Platform with respect to our Client’s integrations for both SAP, and non-SAP scenarios. Both scenarios can be found in the Public cloud and/or On-Premise.
- Further develop skills and competencies on the latest business models, solutions and technologies from SAP within our Client’s domain.
- Have a passion to analyse and understand business requirements, and design/develop appropriate integration solutions. This requires you to also stay in constant contact with your business and IT stakeholders.
- You will bring experience on API development and webservices and use them to further mature, or even enhance all the integrations that are built. During the Flow Programme, you will also be the one that is collaborating with the implementation partner to learn how their solutions are built for our Client. Because the implementation partner is responsible for their scope, you will always make sure that what has been built, is according to the specifications. When looking at integrations that are outside the scope of the implementation partner, you are very free to contribute and lead activities on them.
- You and your colleagues serve as a contact for IT and business colleagues to advise them on application integration topics.
- Develop best practice procedures for SAP Integration Suite with respect to Cloud Integration.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest integration developments, features, and possibilities at SAP.
- Contribute with your expert knowledge on integrations to the overall architecture of our Client’s digital landscape in cooperation with the architecture team.
- Use your experience on API developments and webservices to further mature the use of SAP Integration Suite across our Client’s domain.
- Make sure that all the integrations running through the SAP Integration Suite are outfitted with proper error handling and logs that flow towards SAP CloudALM for monitoring purposes. Work together with both the business and IT stakeholders to achieve consensus on monitoring responsibilities, troubleshooting, and incident-resolving. Monitor and analyze system performance, and suggest and implement enhancements.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams to ensure successful integrations.
Job Requirements
- HBO/BSc degree in Information Technology (or equivalent via work experience).
- Experience in using SAP integration technologies (and or other main integration platforms).
- Previous experience with SAP applications such as SAP S4/HANA, Success Factors, Ariba, and SAP BTP would be beneficial.
- Experience with Agile (Scrum) and associated tools like Azure DevOps and/or SAP Cloud ALM.
- Good understanding of IT fundamentals regarding (SAP) integrations in a diverse digital landscape.
- Desire to automate and innovate and can adapt to change.
- Have good communication skills, are proactive and like to collaborate with your team/colleagues.
