Job Description

Position Summary:

Bull City Talent Group's direct client has an immediate need for a junior- to mid-level SAP FICO Analyst. The role will support SAP for global users and will heavily participate in the firm's upcoming S4 HANA implementation. Reporting to the Director of SAP FICO, this positions joins a team of 4 and collaborates directly with business stakeholders. Therefore, excellent business-ready communication skills are a MUST and the candidate will need to demonstrate first-hand knowledge of finance and accounting principles, processes and transactions. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' of experience, be well versed in SAP FICO fundamentals, ideally have participated in at least one SAP implementation project, and have excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions:

The SAP FICO Functional Analyst will partner with internal and external teams to the SAP Program (comprised of product managers and technology and innovation team) to support ongoing operations and implement enhancements and upgrades to drive team success. Key functions include:

- Monitor and resolve production issues and requests that are submitted by users through ticketing and service requests
- Plan and implement system configuration changes and coordinate all module and system integration testing in conjunction with the business users
- Work with business users and management to improve or adapt business processes
- Educate and train users on why and how processes and transactions are conducted
- Document business processes using flow charts
- Review all new reporting needs and ensures existing reports do not already provide the needed information
- Help users with reports and may construct reports within SAP or in data warehousing and Bl models

Position Requirements:

- 3-5+ years of SAP- FICO module experience with at least one Global SAP implementation preferred
- Foundational knowledge and experience with SAP General Ledger Accounting, Controlling, Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables modules
- Additional exposure to Product Costing, Material Ledger and Fixed Assets Accounting modules is a plus
- Good understanding and experience with Period End Closing processes as well as Reporting
- Must understand fundamental accounting processes and integration points with MM and SD functions
- Bachelor's Degree. Industry certification from SAP or related business area is highly desirable.
