SAP Engineering Administrative Assistant Davisburg, MI

Pay: $20 - $25/hour
Schedule: 8 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Impulse is hiring an SAP Engineering Administrative Assistant in Davisburg, MI. This role supports both engineering and production teams by keeping technical information, materials data, and documentation accurate and organized. It’s a good fit for someone who enjoys working with SAP, spreadsheets, and manufacturing processes while helping keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), Material Masters, and production routings in SAP

  • Process and track Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and update related part numbers, drawings, and documentation

  • Create and track purchase requisitions for materials, spare parts, and engineering supplies

  • Monitor delivery dates and follow up on materials needed to support production

  • Organize and maintain engineering and production documents, including machine manuals, SOPs, and quality records

  • Work with engineering, production, purchasing, and other teams to ensure information in SAP is accurate and up to date

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of administrative or technical support experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Hands-on experience using SAP, preferably within Materials Management (MM) or Production Planning (PP)

  • Experience working with BOMs, Material Masters, routings, ECNs, or similar manufacturing documentation

  • Strong Excel and data-entry skills with close attention to detail

  • Comfortable working with manufacturing terminology and technical documentation

  • Ability to read basic blueprint titles and identify common manufacturing information
