Job Description

BCTG’s direct client is looking for an SAP Datasphere Developer to do the following tasks:

  • Ensure the system is configured properly
  • Suggest improvements where needed – help them use Datasphere more efficiently
  • Ensure best practices are being followed

Key responsibilities:

  • Data Modeling: Building data models within SAP Datasphere, including creating spaces, local tables, views, and data flows to structure data for analysis.
  • Data Integration: Connecting and integrating data from S4.
  • Data Quality Management: Implementing data quality checks and cleansing processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Analytics Development: Collaborating with business users to design and develop analytical solutions using SAP Datasphere including creating dashboards and reports.
  • Data Governance: Enforcing data governance policies, managing data access controls, and maintaining data lineage.

Required skills:

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices
  • Proficiency in SAP Datasphere functionalities like data modeling, data flows, and data quality tools
  • Knowledge of SAP S4HANA and other SAP systems integration and PaPM (Profitability and Performance Management) Integration
  • Azure Cloud
  • SLT replication
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with business stakeholders
