SAP D2C SOLUTION OWNER (SAP RETAIL)

Multinational FMCG company is seeking a skilled and experienced SAP Retail solution owner to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the SAP Retail system to meet the business requirements of our organization. Your expertise in SAP Retail modules will be critical in ensuring the seamless integration and optimal functionality of our retail operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement and optimize SAP Retail solutions, enabling efficient and effective retail processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP Retail Implementation: participate in the end-to-end implementation of SAP Retail solutions, including requirement gathering, system design, configuration, testing, data migration, and post-go-live support.
• System Configuration: configure and customize SAP Retail modules based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• System Enhancement: continuously analyze and enhance existing SAP Retail functionalities to optimize business processes, improve efficiency, and maximize system performance.
• Business Process Mapping: collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their retail operations, document business processes, and identify areas for improvement and automation using SAP Retail capabilities.
• User Training and Support: provide training and support to end-users on SAP Retail functionalities, ensuring effective utilization of the system and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Integration Management: collaborate with technical teams to manage integration points between SAP Retail and other systems such as finance, inventory management, procurement, and logistics.
• System Upgrades and Enhancements: stay abreast of SAP Retail advancements, new releases, and industry trends to propose and implement system upgrades and enhancements that align with business needs.
• Documentation and Reporting: maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, business processes, and user manuals. Generate reports and analyze system data to provide insights for decision-making.
• Project Management: lead or participate in SAP Retail-related projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to project timelines, and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Vendor Management: collaborate with external vendors and consultants for system support, troubleshooting, and upgrades, ensuring effective vendor management and SLA adherence.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a SAP Retail Consultant, with in-depth knowledge of the SAP Retail solution (SAP IS-Retail) – with special focus on the SAP Retail modules SD, MM, FI and CO.
• Additional knowledge of SAP CAR and integration with any SAP or 3rd party POS solution would be a plus.
• Strong understanding of retail business processes, including merchandising, pricing, inventory management, point of sale and financial accounting.
• Proficiency in SAP Retail configuration and customization, including master data management, pricing, promotions, store operations and financial accounting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into SAP Retail solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Project management skills to lead or participate in SAP Retail implementation projects.
• Continuous learning mindset to keep up with the latest SAP Retail developments and industry trends.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies and methodologies, such as IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services would be a plus.
• SAP certification in relevant modules would be a plus.
