SAP Basis Administrator

Duties:

• Production and Project support and monitoring of a global single instance SAP environment
• Work as part of a larger NetWeaver/Basis team led out of the US. Level 1 Production support provided by off-shore team members
• Provide QA, technical guidance, and customer support as needed while coordinating with off-shore NetWeaver team members
• Install, administer, tune, support, and monitor SAP Environment while supporting the business and IT teams
• Install, implement, configure, administrate, provide production support for SAP NetWeaver/Basis software modules
• Act as project leader for technical upgrades, approved architecture changes and other coordinated change activities requiring NetWeaver skills
• Utilize Microsoft SQL Server enterprise database and Microsoft Windows Server operating system
• Provide technical NetWeaver support to SAP ECC, SRM, SCM, BW, XI, GRC, Portal, HANA, and Solution Manager systems
• Apply SAP application-specific system patches and system upgrades, examples: SAP Kernel and Patch upgrades
• Integrate SAP applications with Microsoft Windows OS
• Implement SAP Print setup and spool monitoring
• Technical troubleshooting, analysis, and performance tuning using SAP and OS tools
• Maintain SAP system availability to customers on 24x7 schedule & provide maintenance & system administrative support for SAP functional teams

Requirements:

• SAP Basis/NetWeaver Administration on both ABAP and JAVA platforms
• Technical troubleshooting, analysis, and performance tuning skills using SAP and OS tools
• Must be self-driven with an ability to respond quickly to client requests and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
• High level of attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to act as a team player and work closely with others
• Ability to occasionally work after hours to provide support for SAP functional teams and projects; as SAP system is available 24/7
• Experience working as part of a global onshore and offshore team model preferred
