S/4 Product Costing Consultant

Our client is seeking a highly experienced SAP S/4 Product Costing Consultant to support a global rollout across multiple regions. This is a hands-on functional and product ownership role, not a production support position.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in S/4HANA Product Costing, multiple full-cycle implementations, and strong knowledge of Supply Chain processes and their integration with Finance. The consultant will help drive solution design, coordinate with business and IT stakeholders, and ensure the Product Costing solution is successfully deployed across regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional Product Owner for SAP S/4HANA Product Costing.
• Lead and participate in multiple S/4HANA Product Costing implementations and regional rollouts.
• Drive functional design discussions and make recommendations based on SAP best practices.
• Provide hands-on functional expertise across Product Costing and related FI/CO processes.
• Partner closely with Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective solutions.
• Coordinate across business and technical teams to drive decisions and resolve issues.
• Support the rollout of the global Product Costing solution across multiple regions.
• Lead requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Ensure integration between Product Costing and MM, PP, inventory, and other Supply Chain processes.
• Understand the end-to-end flow from materials procurement and inventory through production, costing, valuation, COGS, and profitability.
• Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
• Take ownership of deliverables and drive work forward with limited direction.
