Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must Have / Expert-Level Experience:

• FullStack Developer
• At least two years of professional experience of Ruby on Rails
• 4+ years professional software development experience
• Rails 4+
• BA/BS Computer Science or a technical/engineering degree
• Unit testing (TestUnit, RSpec) experience
• Automated integration testing (Cucumber, Webrat, Capybara, Selenium) experience
• Deployment Technology (Capistrano)
• GIT and SVN workflow
• Rich browser-based development (JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, CoffeeScript, SCSS, AJAX) experience
• The Rails asset pipeline and other optimization techniques
• Secure APIs
• Integration of CDN (RackSpace primarily, AWS for bonus points)
• Advanced Linux Server Admin experience (Ubuntu preferebly)
• Security best practice experience (database encryption, SSL, etc… )
• Advanced Database Admin experience (mySQL, PostgreSQL) – distributed and/or clustered experience a bonus
• Third party solution integration (i.e. Postmark, MailGun, Airbrake, Google, etc… )
• Application servers (Phusion, Unicorn)
• Background processing techniques (Sidekiq, Resque)
• HA Environment/Systems
• Key architecture experience (Database, Enterprise Applications, eCommerce)

Working Knowledge/Experience Of:

• ElasticSearch/Lucene search systems
• Front end responsive frameworks: Bootstrap and Foundation
• Constant integration experience (i.e. Jenkins) a plus
• Experience in Redis based data structure server: setup, integration and maintainance
• JS based charting libraries (Google, HighCharts)
• OpenERP experience a very strong asset
• Working in Agile teams (refactoring, story writing and estimation)
• Crontab and system/application task techniques (Whenever Gem experience a plus)
• Software/Performance Monitoring Systems/technique 

Nice to have(s):

• Experience in interface design/prototyping and informational presentation a strong plus
• PHP (and any accompanying frameworks)
• Mapping Applications (Google Maps / Leaflet)
• AngularJS
