The Rotational Staff position is a great opportunity for those interested in a career in public accounting, who may be unsure which service line is the best fit for them. During your rotation, you will cycle through tax, assurance, and consulting services before choosing which line you want to continue a career in.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrate behaviors such as teamwork, knowledge sharing and maintaining relationships.
Complete assigned projects in a timely manner and keep supervisors apprised of job status.
Prepare tax returns for pass-through entities, C-corporations, trusts, and high-net worth individuals.
Demonstrate an understanding of professional standards and the importance of regulatory responsibilities. Ability to apply basic areas of GAAP and GAAS, as necessary, and to research technical issues that arise during the course of assurance engagements.
Develops a thorough understanding of all technical areas within the line of service.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree required, accounting preferred
Minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire

Outstanding organization and project management skills
Ability to work independently and coordinating priorities with the help of more senior members of the team
Team player and can collaborate with other individuals in the organization
Highly motivated and takes initiative for professional growth and development
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, especially Excel)
High level of interpersonal skills with demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management
Positive attitude and excitement to learn
Ability to travel to client locations, which may include occasional overnight stays
Ability to work overtime, as needed
