Rota Nanny – International High Profile UHNW Family

Marcilly Recruitment’s client, a high-profile UHNW family with an international lifestyle, is seeking a rota Nanny for their baby. It is four weeks on and four weeks off, based in India and travelling internationally throughout the year between residences. Summers tend to be spent in London and Europe with various holidays.

Our high-calibre client is seeking an exceptional qualified rota Nanny to join their fully staffed household. The successful rota Nanny will need to be a down to earth, flexible team player who can work collaboratively with the wider childcare team, PAs and household staff when required.

This is a highly demanding yet incredibly rewarding opportunity for a polished, proactive, and internationally minded rota Nanny who thrives in dynamic household environments and genuinely enjoys travel and cultural immersion.

They are a lovely family who look after their staff, so they are seeking someone super warm and personable. You will also be given autonomy to work with the other rota nanny to help schedules work fairly for you both, particularly around family engagements etc.

1. Salary: Up to £75,000 gross per annum
2. Benefits: separate accommodation provided, transport and a driver, international travel, all food, supplies and housekeeping of the apartment taken care of
3. Location: India
4. Schedule: One month on / one month off rota
5. Hours: 7am to 7pm with plenty of breaks throughout the day as a fully staffed household with nursing nannies
6. Start Date: ASAP preferred but flexible for the right candidate

The family is flexible when on rota if they spend time with the children to ensure you do get rest when needed. They are looking for someone long-term who will be a part of this lovely family. They just want someone who truly cares and can be adaptable to the ever-changing schedules of an UHNW family in the public eye.

The successful rota nanny must be qualified. That is a non-negotiable as the family like to know their nanny is knowledgeable, so they can ask questions and seek advice. The family are strong communicators and want to work collaboratively with their nannies.

This role requires international travel and would suit a highly adaptable Rota Nanny with strong emotional intelligence, outstanding childcare knowledge, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Rota Nanny Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional care for the family’s baby whilst supporting the wider childcare team when required
2. Work collaboratively alongside rota nannies, night nurses, PAs, and household staff
3. Support all aspects of the child’s routine, development, wellbeing, and day-to-day care
4. Maintain proactive and open communication with the parents regarding routines, development, and childcare matters
5. Travel internationally with the family throughout the year during holidays and periods abroad
6. ⁠Assist with nursery duties and maintain exceptional childcare standards at all times
7. Support developmental milestones through a knowledgeable, calm, and engaging approach
8. ⁠Help create a calm, organised, and positive environment within the household
9. Adapt confidently to changing schedules, travel arrangements, and the dynamics of a fully staffed UHNW household

Rota Nanny Requirements:

1. ⁠Norland qualification or equally strong formal childcare qualifications preferred
2. ⁠Demonstrated experience working within UHNW private households or similar high-level childcare environments
3. Significant experience caring for babies and young children
4. ⁠Comfortable working within fully staffed households and collaborative childcare teams
5. Calm, warm, emotionally intelligent, and highly adaptable personality
6. Strong communication skills and confidence working closely with hands-on parents
7. Open-minded, internationally minded, and excited by the opportunity to live and work in India
8. Flexible and easy-going approach with the ability to work successfully within a rota structure
9. Comfortable travelling internationally and adapting to changing schedules
10. Previous rota experience highly advantageous
11. Fluent English required
