Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
INVENTORY ANALYST/ROBOT ANALYST

  • Analyze inventory for assigned product lines to determine the appropriate stocking levels to meet requirements.
  • Confirm Robot Orders to Factory and follow up as required
  • Manage factory BOM changes and production swaps
  • Analyze usage history, lead times, installed database, and maintain appropriate stocking levels.
  • Interact with other departments including Product Segment and Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, and Service to assist in setting stocking levels which will achieve 100% customer satisfaction
  • Gather support information from various groups
  • Analyze data to assist in forecasting component demand
  • Develop current Reporting System to Streamline / Eliminate Non-value added tasks.
  • Maintain strong knowledge and keep up to date on product lines
  • Work with Engineering/Purchasing to determine make/buy decision for long lead robot components
  • Identify excess/obsolete component parts for scrap

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

  • Support customer down production requirements as required
  • Prepare special analysis as requested/required
  • Provide material planning support to regional offices
  • Actively participate in the ongoing improvement process
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  1. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
  • Knowledge of inventory principles to manage part inventories
  • Working understanding of ERP and MRP systems
  • Highly organized and able to effectively multi tasking
  • Ability to read technical manuals and engineering drawings preferred
  • Efficient at using computerized business systems, Oracle or equivalent based
  • Works efficiently in a team environment and cooperate with other representatives/employees
  • Detail orientated
  • Strong customer focused
  • Excellent oral, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Courteous, helpful and professional demeanor
  1. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
  • Associates degree in Business, Supply Chain/Procurement, Bachelor degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
  1. PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY
  • Extended sitting, standing, computer work
  1. VISUAL ACUITY, HEARING, SPEAKING
  • Good visual acuity, hearing and speaking is required
  1. ENVIRONMENT/SCHEDULING
  • Ability to handle potentially frustrating and stressful situations.
  • Willing to work occasional overtime when required to meet special deadlines in response to customer requirements.
  • Minimum travel may be required.
