A regionally-focused engineering consulting firm is looking for a roadway design engineer to join their well-established transportation group. This is a career-defining opportunity for a roadway design engineer, project engineer, or project manager to reach the next step in their career. Engineers without prior project management experience will be considered for this position if they possess the desire to be trained for a project management role. The engineer will work with both clients and staff to provide technical support as well as prepare project scopes, budgets, and project management plans. Stepping into this role, the individual will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on key local roadway projects, company-wide initiatives, and career-growth and mentorship programs for junior engineers. The team has achieved extensive backlog with both WisDOT and local municipalities throughout Wisconsin.
The firm has offices in Madison, Milwaukee, and Wausau, Wisconsin. A remote/hybrid schedule will be considered for this position. Requirements:
• BS in Civil engineering or related engineering discipline
• 6+ years of experience
• Licensed PE
• Roadway design experience.
• Prior experience working on Wisconsin projects either with WisDOT or local municipalities is preferred.
