Mead & Hunt is looking for a roadway project manager for their well-established Raleigh office. This is a great opportunity for a motivated project engineer or project manager to quickly step-up their career by serving as the right-hand for the local roadway design supervisor. The engineer will be responsible for managing roadway design projects; assisting with the design of projects; overseeing the technical development and delivery of projects; mentoring junior staff members; and working with clients.
The group regularly pursues and wins some of the most complex and interesting projects in North Carolina. They are currently working through an extensive backlog of signature and high-profile projects. The team has recently completed design for an interchange project along I-85 and is also working on design of grade separations for a major section of the Raleigh to Richmond rail project, which recently reached Notice to Proceed (NTP). The majority of projects are located in North Carolina and minimal travel is required for this position.

Requirements:
• BS in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or related engineering discipline preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer preferred
• 7+ years of experience
• Roadway design experience is required.
• Prior project management experience or the desire to grow into a project manager role.
• Familiarity with Microstation/Geopak SS2 Corridor Modeling and/or ORD
• Experience working on DOT projects
