Our client is looking for a roadway design regional practice leader to serve as the market leader for the roadway design division. This position affords the individual with a once in a lifetime opportunity to grow a small roadway group to the next level.
In this role, the individual will be responsible for overseeing and growing the firm’s roadway division, developing and fostering relationships with clients, leading all business development efforts, running the group, and mentoring junior engineers. The leader should have strong relationships with local public sector clients.
The firm works on a wide range of transportation and municipal projects such as urban and rural roadway design, intersection design, trail design, and general municipal transportation projects. Individuals need not have experience in the design of all of these areas but should have an understanding of this type of work and the ability to sell services in this area and oversee junior staff that will be designing these projects.

Requirements:
• BS in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer preferred.
• 12+ years of experience.
• Proven business development experience and local client contacts.
• Knowledge of roadway design for public sector projects.
