Risk Manager

Job Summary: The Risk Manager will oversee the identification, assessment, and management of risks that could impact the organization’s operations and financial performance. This role involves developing risk management strategies, implementing risk mitigation measures, and ensuring compliance with risk-related regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans for various business activities.
  • Monitor and report on the organization’s risk exposure and effectiveness of risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure risk management practices are integrated into business processes.
  • Lead the investigation of risk incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in risk management.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on risk management practices.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and the board of directors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in risk management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles, frameworks, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
  • Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, or CRM are preferred.
