Rhinology and Neuro-Rhinology Fellowship
StaffMED Health Partners is collaborating with a national and international leader in otolaryngology with nationally and international recognized physicians specializing in skull base surgery, rhinology and head and neck oncology. The fellowship is supported by a dedicated subspecialty team of rhinologists and skull base surgeons, oculoplastics and head and neck oncologist, with benefits from a collaborative environment that prioritizes education, innovation, and clinical excellence.
Position Summary:
Now accepting applications for a Fellowship in Rhinology and Neuro-Rhinology (Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery). This advanced training opportunity is designed for board-eligible or board-certified otolaryngologists who seek in-depth experience in the medical and surgical management of complex sinonasal and anterior skull base disorders.
The fellowship offers a high-volume, hands-on experience in advanced rhinologic procedures, including endoscopic sinus surgery, revision cases, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak repairs, endoscopic skull base tumor resections including transclival, transpterygoid orbital decompressions, optic nerve decompressions, frontal sinus drill-outs, and extensive collaborative work with neurosurgery, oculoplastics, head and neck microvascular reconstruction specialists. In addition, the fellowship will offer tremendous exposure and training to significant in-office procedures and the latest technologies.

- Comprehensive training in medical and surgical rhinology, including image-guided and extended endoscopic sinus surgery.
- Extensive experience in neuro-rhinology, skull base and orbital surgery through multidisciplinary collaboration with neurosurgery and ophthalmology and head and neck oncology
- Exposure to inflammatory and neoplastic sinonasal disease, hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT), sinonasal malignancies and extensive skull base pathologies
- Weekly skull base conference and robust academic schedule with research mentorship and publication opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria::
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (or international equivalent).
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Otolaryngology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Illinois.
- Demonstrated interest and an ability to complete skull base surgery and rhinologic research.
