JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Soldering Professional in Rochester Hills, MI. Our client is a circuit board assembly facility servicing the automotive, aerospace, and military industries. The Soldering Professional is responsible for performing soldering operations to join metal parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities of a Soldering Professional include:

  • Melting and applying solder along adjoining edges of workpieces using a soldering iron, gas torch, or electric-ultrasonic equipment.
  • Grinding, cutting, buffing, or bending edges of workpieces to ensure a snug fit using power grinders and hand tools.
  • Removing workpieces from molten solder and holding parts together until the solder sets.
  • Cleaning workpieces using chemical solutions, files, wire brushes, or grinders.
  • Maintaining the soldering iron tip by cleaning it with chemical solutions or cleaning compounds.

Job Requirements of a Soldering Professional:

  • At least 1 year of soldering experience.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Authorization to work in the US.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
