JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Rework Operator in Flint, MI. Our client is a well-established company in the manufacturing industry. The Rework Operator is responsible for performing soldering tasks, reworking electronic components, and ensuring quality control of assembled products.

Responsibilities of a Rework Operator include:

  • Training on 1st shift for approximately one month.

  • Performing soldering tasks on electronic components.

  • Conducting rework and repair on defective or non-conforming products.

  • Ensuring proper quality standards are met in all rework operations.

  • Following detailed work instructions and schematics.

  • Completing a solder assessment during the interview process.

  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements of a Rework Operator:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • MUST have soldering experience (hobbyist or professional electronic experience accepted).

  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

  • Ability to work with small components under magnification if required.

  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in electronic assembly or rework.

  • Knowledge of IPC soldering standards is a plus.

  • Familiarity with ESD requirements and handling electronic components.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Competitive, based on experience. Starts at $17.50/hr.+
Expected Hours: 40 – 50 per week

  • Second and Third Shift Openings (Train on 1st Shift for a month)
