Job Description

We are seeking a Revenue Supervisor to join our team in Winnipeg.

The Revenue Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Revenue Manager in overseeing the revenue function of People Corporation. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition and leads planning and execution of integration of acquired companies into the revenue function.

The Revenue Supervisor supports development and implementation of standardized processes, key performance indicators (KPIs), and controls procedure documentation with a shared services mindset. The Revenue Supervisor leads a team of Revenue Coordinators and fosters a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

The Revenue Supervisor will:

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the month-end revenue process, enabling timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting, Trust, and FP&A teams to review and reconcile revenue figures and resolves any issues.
  • Support other month-end close processes as required.
  • Collaborate with the Integration team, the Accounting team, and business unit finance teams on integration of acquired companies; lead the integration activities for the revenue function.
  • Drive standardization and process optimization efforts within the revenue function with a shared services mindset.
  • Ensure improvements in revenue-related policies and procedures and monitors compliance across the organization.
  • Develop and implement KPIs and KPI reporting for the revenue function.
  • Support project delivery including ERP implementation and other automation initiatives, as required.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of revenue coordinators, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance the team's technical and professional skills.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

To be successful as a Revenue Supervisor with People Corporation, you will need:

  • University degree or diploma in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Solid knowledge of revenue, accounts receivable, and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets.
  • Proficiency in using Workday and Sage software for revenue management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide effective change-management leadership that will deliver change to support the company’s priorities.
  • Strong planning and organization skills, including managing and coordinating tasks and project plans.
  • Ability to develop and implement revenue management strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

All-star candidates will have:

  • CPA designation or actively pursuing a CPA designation.
  • Bilingual with proficiency, both verbally and written, in English and French is an asset.
  • Acquisition and integration experience.
