In conjunction with practice management staffs, contributes to the day to day operations on all issues related to the reimbursement and revenue cycle functions. Works with practice specific business offices on both revenue cycle and accounts receivable management performance to meet short term strategic goals. Assesses the impact of alternatives and recommends business solutions. Must have a strong influence management skills to effectively drive change with the physicians and practice level leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with corporate and practice management teams to oversee and review collections reports to identify payer and other collections issues. Develops and implements practice specific process improvement recommendations to secure positive results, monitor performance and improvements resolution plans for unfavorable trends.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or other related field or equivalent required.
- At least seven (7) years of directly related work experience required.
- At least two (2) years project management or supervisory experience successfully resolving a variety of people issues.
- Strong knowledge of medical insurance billing and collections with CPT, ICD10 and HCPC coding and medical terminology
