Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in consumer goods, retail, or distribution sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding of financial management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems, large ERP experience, or similar platforms) and advanced Excel skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
• Proven problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process optimization and results-driven outcomes.
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with diverse responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to inform strategic pricing, product development, and market expansion initiatives.
• Provide actionable insights to executive leadership, aligning financial strategy with organizational growth objectives.
• Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and maintain rigorous internal controls for financial reporting.
• Optimize financial systems and processes to enhance accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor liquidity, manage cash flow, and support investment decisions to sustain growth and profitability.
• Ensure adherence to tax, audit, and regulatory requirements, staying proactive on evolving compliance standards.
• Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering skill development in financial accounting and encouraging a collaborative team culture.
• Partner with sales, operations, and procurement teams to provide financial expertise for cross-functional initiatives and business innovations.

Compensation Range: $120 – 170K Base Salary
