Job Description

A leading fashion retailer is looking for an analytics professional who works between the business and the data team. You’ll gather and document requirements from business stakeholders and advise on both the semantic layer and the dashboards built on top of it.

What you’ll do

  • Lead conversations with business users to elicit, clarify and document reporting and analytics requirements
  • Advise on semantic layer design: business-friendly data models, metric definitions and governed datasets in Snowflake
  • Guide report and dashboard design in Sigma and Power BI, with a focus on usability, clarity and adoption
  • Turn business needs into clear specs for data engineering and BI development teams
  • Validate deliverables against requirements and support user acceptance

What we’re looking for

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Sigma and Power BI
  • Equally confident discussing data models and semantic layers as discussing dashboard layout and user experience
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with business stakeholders
  • Background as an Analytics BA, BI Analyst or functional BI developer
  • Nice to have: experience in environments running SAP ECC, and retail or fashion industry exposure

Location: Must be local to the NYC Metro area or Greensboro, NC. Hybrid schedule with 3 days/week in office.
