Restoration Operations Manager
RESTORATION OPERATIONS MANAGER |
Primary Responsibilities: |
1. Safety |
a. Recognizes and documents safety hazards. b. Identifies PPE needs and enforces adherence to proper usage. c. Adheres to and oversees work site safety protocols and safety guidelines. d. Coordinates and participates in team safety meetings. e. Maintains assigned PPE kit. |
2. Work Habits |
a. Attendance and punctuality consistently maintained. b. Uses work time appropriately for job responsibilities. c. Follows accurate procedure for requesting time off and notifying management of time off. d. Manages stress, conflict, and frustration in a constructive manner (i.e. seeks assistance/direction, when necessary, remains calm and professional in stressful situations). e. Maintains a well-organized physical and digital records, documentation, and workspace. f. Assists Operations with scheduling and dispatching of Restoration staff, as needed. g. Assists Human Resources with training and development of Restoration staff, as needed. |
3. Division Management |
a. Monitors volume of work. b. Adheres to departmental budgets established by the Regional Director and General Manager. c. Oversees and manages all aspects of Restoration division. d. Reviews and performs data quality control and budget/margin analysis on restoration job files. e. Assists in the development, implementation, and oversight of quality assurance protocols to ensure a positive customer and client experience. f. Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity. |
4. Operations Management |
a. Manages daily operations of the Restoration division. b. Reviews and validates Restoration leads/opportunities. c. Assigns leads to Restoration Managers. d. Ensures restoration team follows proper work processes. e. Assists Restoration Managers with budgeting and job costing. f. Reviews Restoration Manager project scopes of work and estimates for accuracy. g. Reviews work orders to ensure direction corresponds to efficient completion of the scope of work. h. Communicates expectations and order of operations of planned mitigation/remediation activities to Restoration personnel and oversees their activities. i. Performs quality control inspections throughout the duration of projects and takes corrective actions as necessary. |
5. Departmental Support |
a. Perform tasks within the project management process to assist restoration division as needed (i.e. high volume, large project, etc.). b. Responds and initiates services utilizing crews and subcontractors, as needed. c. Evaluates customer priorities and project needs, as needed. d. Consults with potential customers and sells services, converting leads into viable jobs. e. Coordinates, plans, and manages work activities of projects to ensure quality standards are met. f. Manages and ensures submission of accurate project documentation and communications to all stakeholders. g. Negotiates scope of work and/or pricing to obtain required approval. h. Creates and maintains a project timeline. i. Creates project budget and manages job costs to maintain profitability. j. Maintains communication with internal and external stakeholders daily. |
