A premier global financial institution is seeking a sophisticated Resident District Manager to oversee a high-volume multi-site dining and workplace hospitality portfolio in the New York metropolitan area. This is a critical leadership role responsible for managing an elevated $30M+ service environment that includes high-end employee cafés, executive dining, and large-scale corporate conferencing.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide overall vision, strategic planning, and operational control for three key locations totaling approximately $30M in annual revenue.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, fostering a trust-based relationship and ensuring all services align with global brand standards and contractual commitments.
  • Directly oversee a diverse portfolio of services including premium café operations, high-touch executive dining, and complex catering/conferencing events.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team, including a team of General Managers and various support staff across the portfolio.
  • Manage a complex subsidized financial model with full P&L accountability, balancing strict cost discipline with the delivery of a "white-glove" hospitality experience.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with safety, sanitation, and labor regulations within a unionized environment.

Position Requirements

  • Experience: 5–10 years of experience as a Resident District Manager or General Manager in high-volume, premium environments ($20M-$30M+ portfolio).
  • Labor Relations: Mandatory experience managing operations within a unionized environment.
  • Industry Background: Proven success in Corporate Business Dining (B&I), High-End Boutique Hotels, Sports & Entertainment, or Collegiate Hospitality.
  • Leadership: Exceptional ability to manage multi-unit operations and lead diverse teams.
  • Location/Travel: Based in Manhattan (75% of the time) with regular travel within the area (25%). Experience working directly in the New York market is required.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree in business or hospitality is preferred.

Compensation Package Details

  • Base Salary: $155,000 - $170,000 per year
  • Bonus: 22% annual performance-based bonus
  • Relocation: $7,000 lump sum assistance for qualified candidates
