SUMMARY

The asset development team is seeking a Reservoir Engineer reporting to the VP of Asset Development to provide reservoir engineering support for a variety of (as detailed below). The ideal candidate will have strong technical and communication skills.

General Responsibilities

  • Work with multidisciplinary team to generate and execute a development plan that maximizes the value of the Delaware Basin and Midland Basin assets
  • Prepare comprehensive cash flow analyses supported by decline curve analysis, material balance, volumetrics, rate transient analysis, and other reservoir engineering techniques
  • Evaluate lateral and vertical well spacing across the Delaware and Midland basins to determine optimal spacing within each target horizon
  • Analyze reservoir fluids and monitor production performance to generate accurate production forecasts for all wells
  • Collaborate with Operations team to analyze completion and production practices to optimize value across the Delaware Basin and Midland Basin assets
  • Maintain reserves and economic database and manipulate internal and 3rd party data
  • Support Planning team in maintaining long term budget forecast by updating type curve, PDP, shrink/yield, and expense forecasts regularly

Preferred qualifications

  • BS and Engineering and 6+ years of experience with asset development and economic evaluation in unconventional reservoirs
  • Proficient understanding of DCA techniques and fluid flow regime classifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Self-motivated and capable of independently integrating within multi-disciplinary teams
