You will ensure continuous communication with internal customers in Finance, Operations and Sales/Marketing in order to fully understand their 'informational' needs. This role requires excellent communication techniques and strong technical skills to provide a high level of service regarding business analytics and reporting.

You Will...

  • Develop meaningful, actionable reports for internal clients using various reporting/query tools, like MS SQL Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, Dashboards, Excel, etc.
  • Always be on the lookout for ways to improve existing reports, data and business processes.
  • Running ad hoc reports and queries from our client's datawarehouse for Finance and Operations
  • Importing, exporting and integrating data between systems
  • Ability to identify critical areas of the data structure, and come up with creative ways to improve the performance of the reporting.
  • Documentation of data systems
  • Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network

 

You Have...

 

  • A completed University Degree
  • Strong reporting skills (report design) experience, using reporting applications such as Crystal Reports, Cognos PowerPlay/Transformer/Impromptu, MS-SQL Server Reporting Services, etc.
  • Strong MS SQL Server (2000/2005) skills (table, view, DTS packages, stored procedure designs) and techniques of system integration (MSMQ, XML, Web Services, flat files etc…)
  • Understanding of the concept of relational databases and data warehousing
  • Very strong analytical skills / detail oriented personality
  • “Client Service” mentality
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Nice to haves, but not required: Visio, EDI, Navision, MS Project, knowledge of finance/accounting
