We are currently seeking an experienced Remote Tax Manager to oversee tax engagements, lead projects, and mentor team members, all while supporting our diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. Salary: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct tax engagements for clients ranging from small to large-sized businesses, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare and review tax provisions, focusing on ASC 740 and SSAP 101 to verify compliance and accuracy.
- Oversee complex consolidated tax returns, tackling challenges in combined/unitary states.
- Lead tax research and consulting projects, delivering expert advice and producing comprehensive tax opinion letters.
- Provide mentorship and effective feedback to tax staff, fostering a learning environment within the team.
- Engage in business development efforts to enhance client relationships and expand firm’s market presence.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- Licensed CPA or eligibility to obtain CPA license.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of public accounting experience, specifically in tax.
- Solid expertise in corporate tax return preparation and knowledge of both federal and state consolidated return issues.
- Demonstrable ability to manage multiple priorities both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience with insurance sector tax issues is highly advantageous.

- Excellent client relationship management capabilities.
