Reliability Manager
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- The Reliability Manager will develop and implement a plant-wide reliability strategy to improve equipment performance and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Utilize predictive and preventive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound, etc.) to extend asset life and optimize maintenance schedules.
- Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for equipment reliability and plant performance.
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to enhance asset reliability and efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance equipment reliability.
- Foster a culture of reliability and proactive problem-solving within the organization.
- Train and mentor maintenance and operations personnel on reliability principles and best practices.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture in all reliability and maintenance activities.
- Support Process Safety Management (PSM) and Mechanical Integrity (MI) programs related to plant equipment.

Requirements
- The Reliability / Engineering Manager will have a BS or MS degree with an engineering major.
- 10+ years in reliability, maintenance, or engineering roles within a chemical, petrochemical, or industrial manufacturing environment.
- Certifications (Preferred): Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of rotating and fixed equipment (pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, etc.).
- Experience with predictive maintenance tools (vibration analysis, infrared thermography, oil analysis).
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) such as SAP, Maximo, or similar.
- Experience / knowledge of metallurgy / corrosion.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
