Reliability Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- The Reliability Engineer will develop short-term engineering solutions for rotating and fixed equipment to improve the life cycle and equipment reliability.
- Implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Reliability Performance Indicators.
- Lead Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and other Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) efforts.
- Lead reliability programs and work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to prioritize and schedule work.
- Support the implementation of reliability efforts, mechanical integrity, PSM, and Safety Audit Action Items.
- Champion the Preventive and predictive (PM/PdM) Maintenance of plant equipment/
- Investigate downtime/failures, assist in the identification of root causes, and development and implementation of technical solutions.
- Relocation available. $110K-$145K.
- The Maintenance & Reliability Engineer will have a BS degree with an engineering major.
- 3+ years of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting in the chemical industry.
- Working knowledge of equipment design, function, regulatory requirements, and PSM – Mechanical Integrity.
- Understanding of welding principles. Failure analysis training FMEA or RCFA
- Skilled in handling fixed equipment (piping, pressure vessels, storage tanks, etc.) or rotating equipment (centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, vacuum pumps, gearboxes, seals, fans, blowers, vibration analysis).
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship. TN1 visa candidates will be considered.
