Job Description
Responsibilities
- The Sr. Reliability Engineer drives mechanical asset availability for their assigned production unit and forecasts capital and maintenance needs to reduce risks to production OEE and maintenance budget.
- Ensure the availability and ability of mechanical assets to meet the unit’s production goals.
- Supports both capital and expense projects to ensure design is both reliable and maintainable.
- Identify needed maintenance technician training and procedure development.
- Identify and implement Cost Improvement and Cost Avoidance opportunities.
- Respond to equipment failures and ensure that the daily production goals are achieved.
- Perform routine mechanical equipment troubleshooting.
- Perform repair vs. replacement analysis on equipment.
- Relocation available. $110K-$150K.
- The Sr. Reliability Engineer will have a BSME and 8+ years of experience on fixed equipment in a chemical plant or refinery.
- Rotating and fixed equipment trouble shooting and specification.
- Experience with modeling tools such as Fathom, Compress, Aspen or Solidworks.
- CMRP, Vibration Analysis Lev 1, Pump and Mechanical Seal Training Courses, API Certs preferred.
- Knowledge PSM compliance.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
