Job Description
Identify and maintain business for the organization by organizing sales visits and presentations to create awareness of the company’s products.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide leadership, direction, and technical guidance to ensure successful delivery of project solutions.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end process, from solution design to implementation, and for providing quality control and oversight.
  • To provide reporting and analytics to management, as well as review and analyze project results and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • To offer clients viable commercial concepts through market understanding and knowledge.
  • Provide regular two-way communication between client expectations and team deliverables.
  • Ensure that accurate, articulate, and insightful reports are generated and compiled on time.
  • Constantly analyze (monthly, weekly, and daily) business performance vs. targets and bridge variances.
  • Focus on depth driven growth when achieving set targets.
  • Provide management and support for new business in consultation with the Projects/Software Development departments.
  • Provide input into bid/no-bid decisions.
  • Provide data analysis, reporting, and knowledge management to inform business development strategy and operations.
  • Conduct short/long-term strategic research that informs the growth strategy of the business.
  • Manages a database of business partners, setting up meetings and facilitating relationships.
  • Maintain new business files and tools.
  • Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities.
  • Make cold calls for new business leads.
  • Support in the development of new business proposals.
  • Maintain knowledge of all products and service offerings of the company.
  • Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients.
  • Follow company guidelines and procedures for acquisition of customers, submission of tenders, etc.
  • Prepare presentations for the company that can be used at the trade shows, to the clients, to the employees, conferences, etc.
Competency Requirements
  • Strong communication and IT fluency.
  • Strong understanding of Government / Public Sector business.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Planner, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Concepts, understanding the customer and competitive analysis.
  • Knowledge of Product Development.
  • Report writing.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • Fluent in French (added advantage)
  • Skill in prioritizing obligations.

Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • Professional qualification (preferably CIMA) would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum working experience of at least 8 years in a similar position.
