Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to establish tailored care plans.
- Provide direct physical therapy care and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants to ensure treatment adherence.
- Oversee the daily operations and administration of physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
- Ensure the department complies with all hospital policies, infection control protocols, and state regulations.
- Conduct recruitment, training, and retention of skilled departmental personnel.
- Collaborate with financial officers in budget drafting and manage monthly financial reports to optimize resources.
- Develop and periodically review departmental procedures and policies to enhance service delivery and patient care.
- Participate actively in hospital meetings, quality assurance initiatives, and professional development sessions.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Kansas.
- Proven experience in acute care, emergency room, swing bed, and outpatient settings.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to adhering to ethical practices and confidentiality requirements.
- High proficiency in managing multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced certification in physical therapy or a related field.
- Experience in large-scale department management, including handling substantial budgetary responsibilities.
