Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Shift: Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Location: Florida

About the Role

We are hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist for night shifts with rotating weekends in an acute care hospital setting in Florida. This position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus along with a full benefits package and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

- Perform and document patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressures
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate patient needs and treatment responses
- Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery, aerosol medication, and chest physiotherapy
- Assist with artificial airway placement and manage mechanical ventilation
- Monitor patients and respond to emergent situations requiring resuscitation
- Support safe transport of ventilator-dependent patients

Qualifications

- Experience level flexible; new graduates welcome (must have passed boards or be awaiting licensure, no prior experience required)
- NBRC and State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Completion of a two-year AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate’s or equivalent)
- BCLS within 30 days of hire
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
- PALS within 6 months of hire
- NRP within 6 months of hire
