Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Shift: Nights (Rotating Weekends)

About the Role

We are hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist for night shifts with rotating weekends in an acute care hospital setting in Florida. This position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus along with a full benefits package and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressures

  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate patient needs and treatment responses

  • Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery, aerosol medication, and chest physiotherapy

  • Assist with artificial airway placement and manage mechanical ventilation

  • Monitor patients and respond to emergent situations requiring resuscitation

  • Support safe transport of ventilator-dependent patients

Qualifications

  • Experience level flexible; new graduates welcome (must have passed boards or be awaiting licensure, no prior experience required)

  • NBRC and State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

  • Completion of a two-year AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate’s or equivalent)

  • BCLS within 30 days of hire

  • ACLS within 6 months of hire

  • PALS within 6 months of hire

  • NRP within 6 months of hire
