Registered Nurse

APN Staffing is NOW hiring for a Registered Nurse in the Cranston, Rhode Island area. This position is contract for six months and is not a permanent position with the State of Rhode Island. Hours for this shift are (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm).

Hourly Rate of Pay is $65.00 an hour.

General Job Responsibilities:

Provide professional nursing within an in-patient psych facility
Provide medical and nursing therapies, health care instructions and counseling to clients and families
Apply the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation, in the care of clients
Provide instructions to patients/clients and staff on an on-going basis
Monitor health status of patients

General Job Requirements:

Shall hold a current license in good standing privilege to practice as an RN by the Rhode Island State Board of Nursing
RN Psychiatric experience is required (one year)
