Registered Nurse Supervisor - Group Home

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing services in multiple group homes specifically designed for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality care and supervision of LPN/LVN staff within the Memphis, TN area. You'll play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of residents by providing strong leadership, medical oversight, and training to nursing and direct care staff. Salary: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision and collaborate administratively to support nurses across the region.
  • Organize and facilitate clinical training during meetings, enhancing the skills of the nursing team.
  • Act as a primary resource for departmental and agency staff, offering guidance and information as necessary.
  • Direct and oversee the selection, orientation, training, counseling, and discipline of all nursing personnel.
  • Assist with clinical coverage and participate in various aspects of the Nursing Department’s operation as requested.
  • Lead the creation and execution of orientation schedules and ongoing training for new nurses.
  • Supervise and provide direct care as needed in coordination with the overarching goals of the organization.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license from the State Board of Nursing in good standing with the State of Tennessee.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a nursing or healthcare setting.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in Med/Surg, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, or chronic care facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with the intellectually and developmentally disabled population.
  • Proven ability to train and lead a team of healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
