What You’ll Do
Clinical Nutrition Services
Provide nutrition assessments for skilled nursing facility residents
Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on clinical needs
Monitor residents’ nutritional status and adjust care plans accordingly
Support dietary management for chronic conditions and rehabilitation needs
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
Work closely with physicians, nurses, therapy teams, and dietary staff
Participate in care planning meetings and clinical discussions
Provide guidance on nutritional interventions and dietary modifications
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with federal and state long-term care nutrition standards
Maintain accurate documentation within resident medical records
Support facility quality initiatives related to nutrition and dietary services
Dietary Program Oversight
Collaborate with dietary services teams on menus and nutrition standards
Provide guidance on therapeutic diets and special nutritional needs
Support training and education for dietary staff when needed
Community & Adult Day Health Support
Provide nutrition consultation and education for adult day health participants
Support wellness initiatives and dietary planning for community-based care
Who the Organization Is Seeking
You Must Bring
✓ Registered Dietitian Credential – Current RD credential required
✓ Licensure – Eligible for or currently licensed to practice in Hawaii
✓ Clinical Nutrition Experience – Experience in long-term care, clinical nutrition, or rehabilitation settings preferred
✓ Collaborative Care Approach – Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams

What We Offer in Return
Competitive Compensation
$38 per hour for new Registered Dietitians
$40 per hour for candidates with three or more years of experience
Estimated Annual Salary
Approximately $80,000 – $83,200 depending on experience
